Smuft had beaten Mondragon earlier in the Winner Bracket and threw Mondragon down in the Loser bracket facing Legionnaire. Mondragon won that series, and was up against Smuft once again. There, Smuft clearly had the advantage, first beating him in Winner Bracket and then taking two straight games. Then on Nostalgia Mondragon did a great comeback and took three straight games, putting the score 3-3. It was to be settled on Neo Vertigo, who will win Team Liquid Tour #1? In the end, the Canadian proved to be the better player, and took home the first prize of 750$.

WGTour hosted together with Team Liquid the well known tournament who lasted a bit more than a month.
