[s]event_wcg[/s]Most of the preliminaries in Starcraft have finished and an opinion which seems to come up over and over again is the dissatisfaction with the administration of the preliminary. The Brazilian Starcraft community seems to have some reasons to blame their country's administration - but how many, apart from the Brazilians, really believe there was something wrong?
Hosting an event is never easy and requires a lot of experience. An event is often based on most of the following attributes:
administrational experience,
equipment (computers, internet connect, etc),
location (choice of buildings),
time schedule (and especially how long the pauses are inbetween),
preparations (finishing much before start, minimizing the delay)
online coverage (such as replays and latest results) and
number of administrators.
Getting all these different elements to work individually and smoothly is not an easy task. Assume that a single one of these elements did not work properly - such as the equipment (the computers are simply a mess, mice don't work to micro with and look at those mousepads!) - and the catastrophy is a fact.
Nevertheless, the international World Cyber Games Preliminaries has to manage all this and some do it excellent and some don't. Now to our question to our readers for feedback to both the main administration of WCG and each national administrator:
Are you satisfied with your national WCG preliminary?
Yeah! I'm very satisfied!
Despite a few things, yes, I guess I am.
Not satisfied at all :(
I have no experience with it!

Last poll - who wins ClanBase Nations Cup?Our last poll lasted a bit longer than intended after the ClanBase was all finished. 357 of the 556 voters were correct; Germany did take the cup. The 145 voters for Canada were utterly mistaken, though: They didn't even make it to the main final.
You find the poll in the right menu, which you have to be logged in in order to participate in.
