After days of anticipation, Blizzard has finally released the maps to be used in the upcoming Mystery Map Invitational. In total, three new maps were created for the event. They are, without a doubt, all unique. The fighting will take place on the Desert, Twilight, and Jungle terrains.
To make the best maps, you have to call in the best map makers. This was Blizzard's thinking as they asked Bill307 to make two of the maps. He is the sole map admin for wgtour.com, and also won the OnGameNet map making competition. Clearly, Bill was the best for the job. The third one was made by another Canadian, Mora.
May I indroduce, the mystery maps:

These maps will be used in the upcoming Europe vs Americas Mystery Map Invitational match, and eventually the winner of that match vs Asia. Blizzard has yet to announce who will play who, but the community has made its voice heard by flooding the battle.net forum with votes for the matchups. We should see a lot of interesting matches, with each map presenting different qualities. The main bases on Coulee are in fact blocked by mineral patches, which should lead to some creative builds. The two opposite sides of the Atlantic will square off on December 11th.
