On Replays.hu they have posted a news post about an upcoming event they will host. It is an invitational tournament, consisting of really good players. Usually, good players means good games – this should be no exception.





Well known players


December 28th 2004. Remember that date. Why? Replays.hu will host an invitational tournament with a lot of well known players. There will be no less than eight participating players. At this point, seven of them are known.

The 8th player is still to be decided. He (or she) will be Hungarian and the leader of the Gamestar League on the 26th of December.

Maps to use


All matches will be played in a Bo3 where the first map is the very famous Lost Temple. After that it is losers pick. From what I can see, there is no specific pool of maps. That would mean that we could see games on basically any map.

Observing


The chance seems to be pretty big that you will be able to see a game or two. On the site they write:

"I want to see full house in the matches!"
And that all of the games will be played on Observer versions of the maps.

Everything will take place in #op hun_invited on the U.S. West Battle.net server.
