As you all may know, since the beginning of WGTour, WGTour has been using the public channels, Brood War WGTour-1 and Brood War WGTour-2 for its 1v1 ladder channels and Brood War WGTour-2v2 as its 2v2 ladder channel.
The always improving WGTour has finally done as promised and made private channels as their new ladder channels. These channels are moderated by WGTour Admins and bots to help secure the channels from all rule violators. The new channels are Clan WGT1 and Clan WGT2, although there are some rules that came along with this new change, things will hopefully be improved. The rules in these channels are...
-Auto kick after 30 minutes idle. -No spamming (includes: clan recruitment spam, where to dl hacks, general bot spam, and anything of that nature). -No flaming. - WGTour Admin, cart|pat(x)
Although, once again, these changes give WGTour Admins more power over the WGTour community, we can only hope that the admins stay fair and unbiased in their duties of controlling the WGTour channels. The rules are still being updated and changed until they are perfect, so please check the WGTour news for additional information and updates on this subject. World Game Tour has finally gotten private channels for its gamers. This will initially end the annoying bot spams and aggresive bad manner that much of the WGTour community is known for.
