[s]replays[/s]The Swedish site » Gamingeye has posted another replay, this time in the news series called "Patriots Pärlor", which means Patriot's Pearls. The ingredients of a Pearl are two great players playing a great game.

This is a game on Plains to Hill, where there's one Terran player, and one Protoss player. Both players have had a history in Korea, but only one of them is still there.

The Protoss player is none other than Liquid`Nazgul[pG]. First, some retro information about this guy; he won the very first WGTour 1on1 ladder, while it was in its beta stages. He won the WCG'01 qualifications in Netherlands, and ended up 5th in Korea. He also won the WCG qualifications the year 2002 by going through the brackets with 17-0! In Korea he ended up 7th.

Nazgul went to Korea in December 2002, and stayed there in about three months. He played in GhemTV Starleague. He was a member of the AMD Dream Team. During his stay, he won over players like Xellos, but also lost to players like JulyZerg and kOs.

The other player is a member of the team Hexatron DreamTeam, the team that was former known as AMD Dream Team. Do you see the pattern? Well, the Terran player in this game is Oem)Assem.

Brian "Assem" Fransioli ended up second in the qualifications of WCG'03 in USA, just behind Rekrul[pG]. Together, they went to WCG as the American hope. Although, it didn't work out that well for Assem. With 3 wins and 3 losses, he didn't qualify for the playoffs. But, the pro gaming team Pirates of Space had written a contract with this American, and after WCG, he joined them.
Now, he's a member of Hexatron DreamTeam, as you can see in the picture. He will soon get together with his national WCG friend Rekrul.

Oh, I'm sorry, I guess I could ramble on here forever. Well, now you know a bit about the stars in this game. Back to the game; it is 53 minutes long, and was played May 31 2002. It is very entertaining, and according to Patriot himself, it is the best Pearl that he's ever released.
