I was expecting a number of confirmed players somewhere around 30. It was more than the double. 68 players confirmed, which meant it had to be a 128 player bracket. At 21:00 it was created and the long list of player names told who should play who. Most games got started pretty quickly, but it took some time before every match was played. As the time went on, so did the matches. One after one the players got further and further.
Unforunately, as you probably know by now, the PGTour server, where we usually host our tournaments, is down. On it we had the GosuGamers channel, with unlimited number of users being able to be in it. Now it was held on Europe instead, and with only 40 people being able to be in one channel at the time. I don't think it really created any big problems though. Players were able to find each other pretty good.
I have to say it went pretty well. Better than I personally though. No big problems occured. There were an incident with a player who behaved badly towards his opponent and towards me, and got kicked out from the tournament for that. Although, he didn't seem very unhappy about it. Other than that everything was just great.
As usual when it comes to GosuGamers events the Finnish pro-Gaming member Clawson[pG] went trough the brackets like a mad panda and was the first one to reach the semi finals. His former clan mate from Infernal Gamers, iG.crack, came there to hold him company. They were not going to face in the semi's though. Clawson came from the lower half of the brackets and crack from the upper half.
Clawson and uP)Quirion played their semi final after Quirions win against xeQ.RensV, more known as ZpuX. The Portugese managed to win the first game in the best out of tree series, but Clawson came back winning the second and the third game. That gave him one of the final spots. In the other semi final crack was going to play hC.Blade, since Blade managed to beat a disappointed iG.newHABIT in the quarter finals. Blade was able to win with 2-1 and back in the channel crack was very disappointed at himself for not playing different than he did.
The final match, a best out of five between Clawson and Blade will be settled tomorrow at 22:00 CET, since the players are tired and need to rest. The match will be up as a Gosubet, so go spend some minerals! Good luck to both players in the final. Thank God this Saturday is over. Time to get some sleep now.

GosuGamers - Tournament brackets
Tonight the second GosuGamers tournament this week was held. It was set to start at 21:00 CET, and I was sure it would be a 32 man tournament. Although, as time went on and more and more people confirmed I realised that this was going to be a long night.
