The popular WGTour Clanleague started last weekend, and there we good see the reigning champions Team.iD losing to a very strong RSGaming. And also, the match between SoL and iv. was not played to due WCG Italy.
The WGTour Clanleague, consisting of four divisions with ~8 teams in each, is a very popular event in the community. Each week a new round is played, where Sunday is the major day where the clanwars are being played. The highest division, Division 1 is the division that GosuGamers will give you full coverage of, along with GosuBets, interviews and more.
Reigning champions Team.iD loses to RSGaming
The reigning champions from WGTour Clanleague 7, Team.iD, had a really tough match in the first round, facing RSGaming in a very tight match. RSGaming showed up with a very strong lineup, with rS.EatOrBeEaten (Testie), rS.Veg and rS.BlackJack, coming from the now disbanded team Team 88. The North American team proved to be the stronger team and won with a close but comfortable 3-2 win, much thanks to their great 1on1 players.

Latin Gamers beat anSWers World in a hot match
Before this match, the verbal attacks and grudging has gone back and forth between these two teams, according to the WGTCL administration. An SW) player called streetz predicted the match to end 5-0 to his team, but on that LG) replied: "BWScanner is mandatory this season, so I doub it... Your better decition would be don´t show up..." Flame or no flame, the match was won by Latin Gamers by winning the oh so important 2on2 match. anSWers World now have time to lick their wounds, as they are the team with no opponent next round.

eR- - runner-up from last season - went straight up against the 3rd placed team - MicroGamerZ. The last endeavour between the two teams ended 5-0 in the favour of MicroGamerZ. This time eR could stand up better against their last season ghost, although could still not beat the international lineup from MicroGamerZ. An interesting note is that the MgZ) 2on2 team - MgZ)SoniC and MgZ)Kaoru, a team that was an important piece in their great success last season, lost their first 2on2 match in this season.

SoL forfeits against iv.?
The Italian-based clan Sons of Law, was meant to play iv. in the first round. Unfortunately for SoL, they were lacking of enough players to take part in the clanwar. Reason being » WCG Italy and the fact of them being in Division 1, the WGTCL administration allows them to continue WGTCL, even though the rules say that if you should forfeit the first match you are disqualified from the whole season. Nothing is yet confirmed, but it looks like the German team iv. will win due to walkover and SoL will continue playing.
