Dknight, WGTour super administrator announced earlier today that they are now removing Gorky Island from their map list in all kinds of competitive events, ladders and showmatches on WGTour. The map was said to be used as a free win in the WGTour Clan League, where it is loser's pick, and WGTour says they used it to their advantage.

Gorky Island is a known World Cyber Games 2004 map that has received huge number of complaints and critique since it was released. Although not only Gorky Island have been complained on. Almost all World Cyber Games maps have been highly criticized during the years, even though the hate towards WCG 2004 maps were to a great extent.
With this act from WGTour, they will surely get a lot of other requests that this and that map is totally imbalanced and should be removed.
