[s]interview[/s]
I'm here with Dinnin[pG], one of the managers in pro-Gaming, who just two days ago faced RSGaming and lost 5-2. How did it feel losing?
- I wasn't there at the actual CW, but I managed to log on for a short while from my girlfriends house. At that time it was still 1-1. When I saw the results today I must say that I was definitively surprised. But I feel no regret having planned this CW - A lose is not the end of the world, rather a guide to a new beginning.
First of all the public can blame me for all they want, I don't really give a damn. But you wont see me making up excuses for this lose against rS so you shouldn't either. You can say it was the lineup; you can say it was the match-ups; maps or whatever else you want to blame pG's defeat on, but what for?
What was the reason for you not showing up to the clanwar?
- I am leaving Germany soon for 8-10 weeks and ... I have other obligations besides Broodwar. But if you read my last answer you will know where I was :)
Understandable. Hope you had a good time. Even though, it looked like things straightened out with such an experienced team. I myself shoutcasted the match between Clawson[pG] and rS.Day, and it was a nice set of games played there. Have you looked through the replays?
- It wasn't like the team was left alone, I talked everything through with Archi[pG] who handled the CW properly and of course everything was written down in our forums. I haven't watched all the replays yet, but I definitively will tomorrow...
We fought a friendly CW against a worthy opponent and we have learned our lesson. It is not a shame for neither me nor my team to take a lose against a strong team such as rS. We did what was possible and I am sure no one can deny that rS did too. On a different day the outcome might have been a different one. But as mentioned before, I am not here to make up excuses.
rS. deserved their win and they fought well to do so. Why should anyone now try to take away their glory?
All I want to share at this point is that it was a good CW and I sincerely congratulate rS for their victory. - GGs
Why do you think people started to trash-talk [pG] after the clan war?
- Many reasons: Disappointment, jealousy and of course the general pG-haters who use every opportunity to attack [pG]. Its really sad to see the community act like this and always looking for a scapegoat for each CW a good clan loses - Some people just can not accept a defeat
What will be up next for [pG]? Another clanwar against a top clan?
- Yes there will definitively be more CWs coming up, but I also have another concept in mind which is still under construction that I will keep confidential for now.
Yes, again you can put all blame on me for this lose, but it is no dishonor for me to accept this defeat nor to take the acussations. We learn from mistakes and we learn from experience.
And if you haven't noticed yet: No Clan is unbeatable.
But will one lose make me pG lose faith? Will one defeat make pro-gaming devastated? Will one hindrance make us stop? I can assure you that this won't be the case.
Stay tuned for more ~ We'll keep on rocking
Why is not [pG] playing in a clan division such as WGTCL?
- There is just not enough interest within the clan to play a clanleague, especially if there is a set time every week.
