Lan-Z Championship is slowly gearing up to action. Many gamers across South America, and some as far as Europe have confirmed their participation. Apparently while Blizzcon is kicking it up in the northern hemisphere, Lan-Z will be partying in the southern one.
Tournament System
Both tournaments (sc and w3) consist of a 32-man Tournament. First will be played a Group Stage (Saturday 29 October). Top2 of every group will advance to the final 16-man double bracket (Sunday 30 October). It is important to remember that the prize pot for every game is 5.000 US Dollars!
WildCards
The organization has a limited amount of WildCards for each game. The WildCards consist of "invited" players that will receive a spot in the final tournament, plus lodging and transport within Chile (no air tickets.) Every non-Chilean player who wants to receive a WildCard, and are 100% committed to travel to Chile must send am e-mail as soon as possible to [email protected] with all his information. The Wildcards are limited, so I recommend to do this as soon as possible.
Pre-Qualy
We are trying to organize qualifiers in some countries, but no one is 100% confirmed. The idea of these qualifiers is to win not only a Wildcard, but also an airticket to Chile. There will also be a local pre-qualifier at the event 1 day before the final tournament (Friday 28 October) where every player participating in the LAN (mainly Chilean players) will dispute each other to win one of the spots for the final tournament.
LAN Event
The LAN is for all those players who want to participate in the LAN and in the official tournament. It is not obligatory to participate in the LAN, which consist of aprox. 500 players. The tournament will be held in the tournament area with special competition computers.

1º 2.500.- 2º 1.000.- 3º 500.-
4º 400.- 5º 300.- 6º & 7º & 8º 100.- each.
