So far the creators of this showmatch event have not came up with a set of rules, or a name yet. On the Shock Squadron site they will have a press release of the name and rules coming up soon. One of the creators Unni[S2] calls it S3: Shock Squadron ShowMatches, which is a name that would stick.
For S3's first match they featured one of Shock Squadron's own members, Quak[S2]. Quak[S2], who is also known as Pato[S2], won WCG Argentina 2004, and was a runner-up this year. Pato's opponent is iG.NaranjitO. NaranjitO is a member of the Infernal Gamer team and is possibly a top Peruvian. He can both 1vs1 and 2vs2 very well.
The games were all dominated by the Peruvian protoss. Pato did fight some, but still he proved that NaranjitO was the better man in this fight. All games were Terran versus Protoss and all were on some moderatly popular maps. The third game, which was played on the 2005 WCG map Estrella, Pato was out macroed by NaranjitO. All games were very nice and all were well played.
We can look forward to seeing more of S3 as the days move on for the StarCraft Brood War community. Also the replays have been put into a nice little replay package for out enjoyment. So enjoy!

With all the showmatch events going on now a days it wouldn't hurt for someone else to get in on the action, would it? Well Unni[S2] thought it would be a great idea to do so. The showmatch event as of now does not have an offical name but they like to call it S3: Shock Squadron ShowMatches
