Months have passed since the last NeoEx match, but the fire was recently rekindled. This time, the ever-talented Australian protoss player Legionnaire defended aiur against a relatively new face - the up and coming Polish zerg Zazu(GN).
Legionnaire has been involved in just about every major tournament or ladder in recent years, and has never disappointed. He currently resides in South Korea playing for the Hexatron pro team. Zazu hails from the strong Polish GameNet clan, and has proven himself by reaching third place on the WGTour ladder with an amazing record of 62 wins and 13 losses. In the NeoEx match, however, Legionnaire's amazing consistancy and use of storm proved to be too much for Zazu to overcome.
The games were as follows:
Legionnaire > Zazu(GN) @ Guillotine
Legionnaire > Zazu(GN) @ Lost Temple
Legionnaire > Zazu(GN) @ Forbidden Zone
Legionnaire > Zazu(GN) @ Requiem
Leg greets the swarm with a flurry of storms. (game 3)
Leg once again shows why he is truly a world class player, defeating Zazu by a final score of five to zero. The zerg gave a great effort, but fell just short. He opted for protoss in game four in order to better match up on Forbidden Zone, but his inexperience in this situation was fatal. Congratulations to legionnaire for a convincing NeoEx win!
