First of April is cruel. Being totally unaware of the date can prove to be a real pain in the neck. "Almost dying because of a heart-attack", as some of our users expressed it, and seemed to have been the common reaction after reading that Battle.net would become a pay-to-play service. And when you thought you were safe, it hit you again...!

Battle.net will remain free

The first joke of the day was titled "Game cards for Battle.net" and the sub-title "Breaking news from Battle.net" in a big red font. It even manged to fool some of our own crew members who weren't paying attention. But this was only the teaser...

World of WarCraft to remain the same in summer?

The MMORPGs having to close during the summer's most sunny days actually seemed very reasonable - atleast to my friends when being asked what they thought about it the second "breaking news" of the day. The Health and Care Organization was indeed faked and even though some were still very suspicious to any news that day, it seems like we managed quite well.

"I thought GosuGamers were a serious news site" some said, seemingly seconds after realising they were fooled. Our answer is yes, we are. But that day is special and will remain to be for the next years, whether we like it or not.

Hope you enjoyed it!
