Later tonight at 19:50 CET Sweden will face Netherlands in a friendly nation war. The setup is 4 1on1 matches and 1 2on2 match. Sources say that one of Netherlands' best and most respected player Nazgul will not take part, and ret is in Spain taking part in a tournament. GosuGamers recently talked with Strafe as well where he revealed that he was not intending to play this match.
Sweden on the other hand are very hungry and claims revenge from the last endeavour against Netherlands. It was in ClanBase Nations Cup where they got beaten in the playoffs. They also seek revenge after last week's match against the Russians who beat them 5-0.
Sweden's lineup, who has been switched a couple times per nation war looks pretty strong which it will have to be to bring down the sturdy Dutch players. On the battlefield tonight you will see KaaZ, DaZe and possibly
TreK, as well as other known faces from Team Sweden. GosuGamers have not been able to contact Riddler (Team NLD manager) about the lineup yet, but time will tell.

The game is over! In the end, after three really good 2on2 matches, iG managed to win against Team Sweden. The replay package is uploaded, and you can download it by pressing the link below. Good game I say on behalf of Team Sweden. Infernal Gamers were mannered and gave us something else to fight when Netherlands did not show up. Thank you, and good night!

Even if the nation war did not go as we wanted, it still turned out to be really tense and some exciting games. Unfortunately for Team Sweden we are down with 0-4, but after some really close matches, except for GuMMi's match against the really strong and hot player iG.Ex[s2]. We are moving in for the 2on2 matches, and then hopefully we will put together a fully intact replay package for you!
Third update 20.57 (Raistlin)
Sweden had to put in a couple of standins, because some of the Swedish players were too irritated that Netherlands did not show up. So instead of DaZe and TreK we put in GuMMi and Gurram, two standins who have played in Team SWE before. As of right now, KaaZ and his clanmate Bruce are 1-1 against eachother, and Gurram and GuMMi is behind 0-1.

Due to only one or two from the Netherlands team showing up, the Nation War is cancelled. However, Team Sweden felt that with all the hazzle with radio, lineup and such a nice Sunday evening, we don't want to spoil it.
So instead we are playing a showmatch against the international clan Infernal Gamers. Lineups and further information will be up shortly.
