Earlier this weekend USA faced Hungary in a WGTour Nation War. Both nations showed up with a very nice lineup and many promising players for the future. A number of seven matches were played, 6x1on1 and 1x2on2. inControl, Team USA captain says on WGTour that everyone was very mannered and they encountered no problems at all during the match. "Both teams remained friendly and enjoyed what was to be a exciting NW between two respectable nations."
The very experienced and wellknown American player Day proved to be too strong for one of Hungary's finest - 88)Naib. In a nice Protoss versus Zerg match Day could give USA the first win. The second match featured 88)Blackdrone against SW)Lois, a relatively unknown player from USA. Lois did however manage to beat the Team 88 member BlackDrone thus giving USA a comfortable lead with 2-0. 88)Saddles and 88)BlackJack for USA both won their matches fairly easy with 2-0 each.
The only 1on1 match that were won by Hungary was by gosudrone, also known as Kashuka. He won his match against rS.Wisdom[9] with 2-1. But it didn't make much of a difference because MgZ)Zelias (pic) - one of the strongest powerhouses in USA took down iH.Dromedar for Hungary, giving USA a 5-1 lead. The 2on2s were won by Hungary, to even out the score a bit.
