The Team Liquid Tour Season 2 ladder is over. The matches played after 23:59 CET yesterday do not count, and now the Top 32 is settled. These players will take part in a 32 man tournament next weekend. And yes, BWScanner is mandatory, unlike in the ladder.
After a whole month of intense ladder playing, the TLTour Season 2 ladder is now closed. These happy 32 players made it to the playoffs after many hours of playing against others wanting the same. Some of the ranked players are smurfs, some known and some not. WelcomeToDying is confirmed ToT)Mondragon(, ToT)Nitsirk( is ToT)TreK( and asmetoyou is rumoured to be PJ. However, Legionnaire says over at TeamLiquid.net that he talked to the one behind the account about it. "He admitted that they were a friend of PJ's and PJ couldn't play so gave the account to them." As you can see, Zerg is overrepresented with 14 Zerg players with 8 Terrans coming in second. The number of Protoss and Random players are the same, 5. You can also see that pro-Gaming is the clan that has most representatives in the Top 32. Templars of Twilight comes in second with four members (WelcomeToDying counted).
Playoffs next weekend - #1 vs. #32 etc.
These 32 players will clash next weekend, 7th and 8th of May17:00 CET in a Double Elimination tournament with best of three in Winner Bracket and best of one in Loser Bracket. The players will be seeded based on their ladder rank, meaning #1 will face #32 and so on.
BWScanner mandatory - TTA will help out
For the tournament to be as legit and hack free as possible, BWScanner will now be mandatory. ErkenBrand at WGTour announces that the creator of the program, TravelToAiur will be there helping out players who have trouble concerning BWScanner, all for it to run as smooth as possible.
