Just minutes after Testie typed 'gg' and lost the Loser Bracket Finals against Assem, GosuGamers grabbed him to talk of his accomplishments in the TLT playoff and in general around the event. He tells that his accomplishments were very testiesh. If you want to know what that is read on.
After five long and hot matches, Assem finally won on Blade Storm. First thoughts and opinions?
- Hmm, nothing. I'm just sad I couldn't make the people who wished me and voted for me happy. Last night a lot of people told me I must win! But other than that, shrug. I don't feel anything in particular. Just a happy camper. I wished Mondi was with me though. ;D
What do you think of your accomplishments in the tournament?
- Hm, shrug. It's testiesh. I'm always in the finals or very close to it. I didn't beat Assem which surprised me. But he played very solid. Though he's always played this turtle way vs toss. ;) Carriers are needed for him. I just remembered that way too late. :)
Who do you think have the biggest shot in winning tomorrow?
- I have never seen Yan play other than my two nation war games against him a long time ago. I think Assem is a better player, and will beat him. Possibly 4-1 or 4-2.
Were you surprised that Yan went so far?
- Hm, yes. I expected Ret or Fisheye to win that side of the bracket. But maybe they had a bad day, who knows. If you ask me who is better today, I would still think Ret / Fisheye would be the favourites to win that side of the bracket. ;p But as I said I have never seen Yan play before.
StinGeR said that the maps were unfair to Zerg - what are your opinion on that?
- They were very unfair to zerg. I do not mean to take away from Assems win from Mondragon, but I still think Mondragon is a better player than him, and would have beaten him if the maps had been different. He got the unluckiest positions possible on gaema gowon. Then again on Namja Iyagi. And that does not even include other matchups.. like ZvP on isles of siren. That is auto loss, unless the player gets zerg due to being random.
If you were to compare this season to the previous one, are there any that differs?
- I was not playing the previous season. I played the ladder, and then my internet went out in august. And it returned in October. ;p
Are there any players you are missing in the tournament? Were you disappointed of your friend Mondragon to not make as far as he use to?
- Of course I was disappointed Mondi didn't make it to the finals. But he didn't even practice. He just drank a lot of beer and went out with his girlfriend. I'm not sure if he has a girlfriend, perhaps it is slang for beer in german. :P Hm, once I just thought i'd see the usual suspects. ;p

”You let Assem pause after 2-2 yesterday, where people thought was a fine act. Do you think he would do the same for you?- I don't know. When I disconnected he said I did it on purpose, and supposedly tried to take the win... However asked him if he would like to quit yesterday, when the series was 1-2 for me. He said 'nah keep playing', then 2-2. And then he decided to stop. I did not want to beat him just because he was tired. If he outplayed me, he would outplay me. And deserve the win. And he did that today.
Though I did joke yesterday while he was leaving that he was forfeiting the match, but it had already been decided with Ilvy that we play tomorrow. Some nut-job probably took that serious and siad 'omg testie bm' ;P
So what is up next for you? Will you follow the match tomorrow, or will you go do something else?
- The finals between two boring players with the personalities of bricks, follow that? A TvT finals where neither plays interestingly? I do not care who wins. The players I care about are obviously done. So nope. =)
And next for me is the PGT tournament next week. Hopefully the progamers show up. I expect to win the 2v2 one. The 1v1 one will.. umm.. well.. that's a lot of koreans to cut through.. and umm.. It will be tough every round likely. ;p
What will you do with the prize money you will receive?
- Pay people that I owe money to back. ;) Well, with that amount of money I really should invest it. Be a millionaire you know? Fast cars, big houses, jet skis, the works.
