Imagine if people like JCA, the creator of BWChart, and TravelToAiur, the creator of Bwscanner, got together with programmers like Ashur and Lasgo to improve features in the Broodwar code or create better Starcraft tools. The imagine that to that group you add the collaborative efforts of our night in shining armor, SuperPenguin, or the Paladin as I like to call him. Imagine then that hack makers instead of making hacks decided to join to help to make good programs for Starcraft.
I have known for quite sometime it has been Ashur’s dream to gather the resources from the good programmers in the Starcraft community to work on projects to improve Broodwar and make new Starcraft tools. He also dreams of gathering those skilled in the hack-making community and bring them to work on good projects rather then their current ill featured map hacks, disconnection hacks and the such. Ashur is friends with many of these shady characters and for quite sometime they have all been tinkering with the Broodwar Code – and more importantly, admiring it.
This is why I call him the Shadow Walker, because he has walked in between both worlds for quite some time now. If he can pull out just ONE of these shady characters from the dark-side to work for good projects rather than their deleterious activities, Ashurs place in fog- of-war heaven will be assured forever. It is also no secret that Ashur has cracked PGTour launcher twice already with the successful goal of making it stronger, thus putting his skills for a good cause rather than the vast majority of » Crackers out there.
Well he did not give up on his dream and went ahead and created a support forum for good Starcraft tools. In these forums you will find in the near future some collaborative work between Lasgo, SuperPenguin, Ashur, JCA and TTA. Between them is perhaps 50% of all the good programs that have ever been made for Starcraft. There are many other good programs out there that most of us do not use but that have facilitated the UMS and MOD worlds.
Ashur himself is also putting the finishing touches on the BW Launcher for 1.12b that will support older versions down to 1.09. He has also made me a promise that within a month or so he will revive the BWTVObserver Project with or without Lasgo's help. He could not be in better company now to do this.
Ashur has realized a long time ago a universal truth. This is the truth behind the 1com dream. Team work and cooperation owns all.

The Shadow Walker, Ashur, has forged a new site and forum, BWProgrammers.com following a dream and fulfilling his promise. This site will be a support forum for software made by Lasgo, SuperPenguin, JCA, TraveltoAuir and himself. They are joining their resources and promise collaborative works in the future.
