October has ended and November is here, which means that the World Cyber Games are just a few moons away. Even when the grand final ends, there's still much more StarCraft action to look forward to. Three tournaments are going to held on the weekend of the 26-27th of November in Spain, Greece, and the United States.

I am sure some of us are counting the days that the WCG Grand Finals will take place in Singapore. Unfortunately, we can't go forward in time to bring them closer, but I can tell you something that you can look forward to after the event. There will be three tournaments taking place in the following countries: Spain, Greece, and the United States. So as you stay up all night listening to audio and video streams from WCG you might want to consider waiting an extra weekend until after these three tournaments take place. Whether you're attending these or just look forward to seeing the results all I can say is - many great games will be played.

Spain - LAN Tournament in Madrid

An event involving some of the best players in the Spanish community will be competing. As some of you might remember from last years tournament, ret[TmG] traveled to Spain where he managed to make it to the finals to play against x6AMD.ZelotITO. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to win, but played some great games nonetheless.

The tournament will be held in the capital city, Madrid. One of the largest Internet Cafe's in Spain will be the host of this tournament. Well over fifty computers will be available for the players along with two projectors that will be broadcasting matches from the event. Also, you can't forget the mention their brand new air conditioning system that will need to run on high to keep a room with a lot of computers and players cool.

To partcipate in this tournament you will need to pay 20€ which gets you a spot in the tournament and a T-shirt. If you plan on observing you will only need to be a total of 5€. All of the money used for the entry free will be given directly to the winners as prizes.

IFirestarterThis next event will be held on the same weekend as the one from Spain. Even though, Greece is seen by many as a country with not a whole lot of StarCraft talent, we known that's not the case. They were able to get over twenty people to sign up when it was first announced including some of their better known players: Play.sataNik, Play.ZatoiChi, iG.crack, and Bartar-AFM-.

Just as the event in Spain, this event will have both a 1v1 and 2v2 tournament with prize money depending on the amount of participants. Everyone is welcome even if you just plan to come and observe.

You can view some more information from this tournament or register by clicking » here.

Also, if all goes well, it's rumored that both Spain and Greece will play a showmatch against eachother sometime this weekend.

United States - LAN Tournament in Sunnyvale

This event is being organized by mnm with cooperation from » SCLegacy. Unlike the other two events, this tournament will take place on Saturday, the 26th of November and will only last one day.

As expected from many other tournaments in the California, this event should have a fairly decent amount of players. We could possibly expect to see players like FroZ, rS.DAy[9], or rS.Yosh to attend, but it's to early to tell.

Just like in the other two tournaments, the prize money will depend on the amount of people that compete. The entry fee will be $12, but everyone that attends will receive a raffle ticket giving them the chance to win a nVidia GeForce 6600GT OC graphics card.

Sweden - DreamHack in Jönköping

Shortly we have DreamHack Winter 2005 comping up in Sweden the 24th to 27th of November. Several good players are expected to attend, and most of Team Sweden's members and some Czech Republican representatives, including members of the Czech Demolition Squad.

The event's official prize money has not been announced, however last year featured a total of ~€1600 (15,000 SEK). GosuGamers will have Mazor and poGDI on the spot organizing tournaments and giving you a live coverage. See DreamHack.se for more information-
