Over 150 teams have already signed up for the event. Top teams such as MicroGamerZ, oGaming, Play.iT, and Infernal Gamers have already signed up. This is a great opportunity for many new teams. Those skilled but unknown teams wanting a chance to prove themselves will finally get one in this huge event.
Inscriptions will end February 18th, so join before space runs out. After the date has passed, the rest of the information will be released. Maps have not been announced but expect the normal maps such as Luna, R-Point, and others. The tournament itself will be single elimination tournament with each round being a best of 5. Four 1 on 1 matches and one 2 on 2 match are to be played, but matches are to be best of 3.

In the first event of its kind, WGTour is organizing a World Team Cup. Open to 256 teams around the world, this should be an exciting event. Any team is allowed to participate, as long as they have 6 members and are a registered team at the WGTour.com website.
