Although some countries like Netherlands, France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Chile, and Portugal will not participate this year it does not mean the event will be a bust. Germany, China, Korea, Poland, Russia, Canada, and Taiwan are just a few of the many countries that will be sending players to compete for the right to see who the best is in the SC: BW world.
As of today there are 44 players that will be meeting up in Singapore for the finals. Switzerland, Canada, Poland, United Kingdom, Panama, Australia, Spain, Colombia, Hungary, Mexico, Peru, and Czech Republic still have to hold their national finals to see who will represent them in the finals. In the past week Iran, Vietnam, Korea, and Brazil finished up their finals and the participants have been declared.

The remaining country finals will be held and finished before the end of October. The final national WCG will be held for the Czech Republic on October 24th through the 27th. Look out for Switzerland and Canada very soon as their finals will be held this up and coming weekend.

In just two short months possibly the biggest offline e-Sport competition will be held. Last year held in the United States, the year before Korea, and this year it will be held in Singapore.
