Andrey Kukhianidze (picture), more known to you as Androide, proved his exceptional Terran skills several times already. During the World Cyber Games 2005 in Singapore he was able to beat Na Do "Silent_Control" Hyun, Artur "Blackman" Michalak and Sean "Day" Plott to mention a few and eventually lost to Lee Jae "fOru" Hoon in the finals, which gave him the 2nd place. Next to that he managed to become 2nd at the Samsung European Championship 2005, losing to ToT)Mondragon( in the finals. And that doesn't include his successes at several LAN events he attended. Right after WCG 2005 he announced in several interviews that he will focus on his studies and quit Starcraft forever.
Bartleby[S2] at www.reps.ru sat down with Androide just a few weeks before the Russian WCG 2006 finals start and had an interesting interview with him asking him about his appearance in the Russian WCG preliminaries and his comeback to the Russian national team. Androide says that he started the preparations for Russian WCG finals and WCG Italy with his friend and compatriot Vakhtang "Ex" Zakiev. Bartleby: Does it mean, that your appearance in semifinals of WorldCup against Spain was not incidental?
Androide: Potrax[S2] and Pilat[S2] invited me to represent Russian team and I accepted this offer with pleasure. Unfortunately, my name wasn't in the list. I could not participate as long as I am not nominated as the team member.
