This man will help Nerds at Work back to Division 2.

Mireille was added to the Swedish top team Nerds at Work (NaW-) roster yesterday.



Nerds at Work have an impressive Swedish roster, with Datoby, DeliCato and WhiZ ready for the action in the upcoming WGTCL season. Yesterday they probably made one of the best recruits in Division 3, as Emil "Mireille" Niklasson joined their ranks.
GosuGamers caught up with Emerald - the leader of NaW- to talk about the new recruit, WGTCL and the team.

You just picked up Mireille. Why did you decide to recruit him?
- We lacked Terran gamers in our team and since Mireille had been wanting to join us for quite a while now we decided yesterday to make him a part of Team NaW. He has great manner, plays at high skill, is Swedish and has also throughout the past years become a friend with many in the team. He was the perfect choice for us.

He has not been a part of a clan for a very long time. Why do you think he decided to join up with you?
- I think that he shares the same values as we do in the team. We are always struggling to keep the team mannered and the team spirit we have is very good. Most of the players in the team has met each-another in real life more then once and we have a lot of fun together. But naturally, we are also aiming for reaching our performance goals in leagues such as WGTCL.

FA NeCSpeaking about WGTCL, you are currently in the third division after slipping down from the second division last season. What do you think of your chances reaching Division 2 again?
- During the WGTCL season break we have made several modifications in the team. We have rebuilt parts of the roster and now we are ready for fight with a highly active team of good players. I feel very confident that we will regain back our position in division 2 directly.

Any of the teams in there that you fear more than other ones?
- Hmm... I don't know all of the teams in our group very well. But I would say that at least cF. can be a threat if they manage to get a good lineup against us. But 2 seasons ago, when we met in division 2, we beat them by 4-1 and I predict our lineup to be much stronger this time. So the question is "who should fear who?"

Do you consider your team as the Swedish All Star team, with names as Mireille, DeliCato, Datoby and WhiZ?
- No I wouldn't, I am too humble for claiming such a thing. But I believe that NaW- is the Swedish team with the best active members in it. Team BW- has a highly respectful roster, but very few of those are active anymore.

You have a rule that only Swedes can play in your team. Why is that?
- Team NaW was created a bit over two years ago and during our first year we recruited internationally. But it has been hard to create good bonds and grow a close team spirit when players live in other continents, have such different timezones etcetera. After advising amongst the members in the team I decided that we would only recruit Swedish capacity for the team. The few non Swedish players we had at that point eventually went to another teams, and we started to post team news in Swedish at our site instead. After hand we have discovered that Sweden has a great variety of good skilled players and there has not been any need for us to find members from other countries. An all-Swedish team also emphasizes the family spirit that we share in the team with each-another.

Let's say the whole world turned Swedish, and you would hire three new players to your team, who would they be?
- That is such a hard question, why are you doing this to me? Well okay, I will give it a shot. I would recruit White-Ra for his outstanding sportsmanship. I would also recruit Clawson (Arcneon) because I love him. There are few players that I respect and admire so much as that Finnish power machine. I would also like to have an active KaaZ in my team because he is so kind. Probably the only Swedish player I ain't got yet that I would like to.

How do you think Team BW- will do in Division 1?
- We have a very close relationship with Team BW-. I myself speak with their leader Hades on the phone almost on a daily basis and I really wish them the best of luck. But I believe that they will be having a very hard time staying in division 1. Most of the teams better players are totally or partly inactive and that is sad. But with some successful recruits during the season they at least have a small chance of making it anyway. Just a couple of days ago BW- announced that BW-TuFFeR will take over the leadership of the team, and I feel confident about him leading the team ahead in a positive way.

You are called "Team NaW-/Qpad." on the WGTour website, care to explain this some more?
- There are a lot of exciting things going on in the team at this moment. We have chosen to leak out that we have some business along with Qpad, but it is too early now for us to specify anymore details about this. When time is ready, we will make an official statement including our involvement with Qpad among other interesting events that we will host during 2007.

It will be interesting following Nerds at Work in Division 3 of WGTCL. Something tells me they have a much higher capacity than that. Emerald is a very dedicated person when it comes to leading his team.
