FishServer Clan League is closing in on the grand final. BossClub is up against inFernoesports tomorrow at 21:00.
FishServer was an attempt to unite the Koreans and the foreigners to a playground. For starters they launched a clanleague, put together with the help of Bartar from BossClub. 16 teams. Even if the clanleague was a good event, it still didn't bring the Koreans together with the rest.
-The next step must be to delight players participate in the ladders there next to the Koreans and play Brood War like brothers in arms, says Boss.The.Crow.
The clanleague is coming to and end, with only the Grand Final yet to be played. The two teams in the final are BossClub and inFernoesports. BossClub went undefeated in the Winner Bracket, while inFernoesports had to struggle their way through the Loser Bracket after losing to BossClub earlier. After defeating Micro Media in the Loser Bracket final, the Italian-based team will now take on the Bosses one more time.
GosuGamers caught up with one of the BossClub managers, Boss.The.Crow about the FishServer league, what they think of inFernoesports as a team and of course the latest rumuors.
BossClub is in the Grand Final of the FishServer International Clan League. Surprised?
- We are happy that we reached after all the weeks and some hard fights our goal in this Clan League - the grand final. It was a lots of fun to play versus the honoured teams of aFz, 4p and especially Media. The team of Media has many awesome players and I must say I had for some seconds doubts if we really could win them with a clear result, because they showed a lot of in the BWCL Premier League when we had some problems with our players that they can show there best skills.
You're up against Inferno Esports in the Grand Final. You played them before in the Winner Bracket. Tell me, what do you think of them as a team?
- Yeah we played them already in the FI CL with a 5-2 win. And then they where send to the LB where they got a great win against Media. I have a lot of respect towards them now, cause, as I already mentioned, I appreciate Media. So inF learned me that it sometimes necessary to reconsider the image you got of a team in your brain: When the BWCL Premier League started, I was nearly sure inF reiceive one of the last two places, but they improved, and deserve a lot of respect now!
BossClub were helping out with making FICL more known an international. Are you satisfied the way the league has turned out?
- Yeah, Bartar did a good job hosting the league on this private Korean Server, that is free of any lag of rooter connection problems. But the FI CL was the idea to help to create a playground where Korean and non Korean players are united. We must confess that it wasn't possible to convince players to play also in the 1n1 laders on FI Sever. There 18000 Koreans are still almost alone there. So I think the CL was a first step that helped to make the Server more know. The next step must be to delight players participate in the ladders there next to the koreans and play BroodWar like brothers in arms.
Lastly, there are rumours going around that you are to be picked up by a known multigaming organization? Are any of those rumours true?
- Well, it is always necessary to develop and improve all things that are mabye not 100% perfect - we want to reach the sky and to do this sometimes you need to dare changes and big steps, otherwise you would never reach the long way to the sky!
