The last playday of the OSL group stage has been played. GosuGamers brings you the final standing and an explanation on how the OSL will proceed from here.
The OGN StarLeague format is fairly straight foreward. The group stage of 24 players just finished. Top two in each group advance to make 12 players in the next round. Then the third place finishers in the group will fight over the last four slots to make the tournament part of the StarLeague feature 16 players. The six thirdplace finishers will be paired and the three winners go through. Then the three losers will play a round robin to decide the last spot. The tournament is single elimination best of three. From the semifinals and on it's best of 5.
There are no battle reports of the games today sadly, but I'll give a very brief summary. Much DT dropped oov three or four times without too much effect. Then oov moved out and it was instant gg. Much didn't look too interested as he was already qualified. UpMagic went dual barracks outside his natural and displayed excellent micro in taking down Anytime. Savior played a very solid game and beat Light in what seemed at times to be a close game, in reality is was all Savior. Child got schooled nicely by GoodFriend. IriS did a bunker rush early on and took down a lot of drones. From then on IriS didn't let go of his advantage. Yooi got taken down with mass lings without building firebats.

Savior and ZergMan: barely made it.
Well, Much is the only Protoss, but I am still looking foreward to the tournament stage. Hwasin will have to prove his TvT as well as his proven TvZ if he wants to go all the way. Casy is a strong tip for winning the whole thing as his weakness has always been TvP. You can never count out Savior, oov or NaDa (if he makes it). Lets hope Midas gets over his usual problem with semifinals. Personally I'm looking foreward to see how UpMagic does in some best of three series.
