GosuGamers talked to ToT)MidiaN( right after the third prize match. MidiaN is not playing at his best, he says, but he is quite happy with ending third and receiving some prize money.

So what did you think of the first tournament for this season, with prize money and all?
- Well I always liked bw4ever in the past, I played it quite frequently even when there was no money. Of course with the money prizes this raised interest and there were 500 or so registrations, which is really awesome, I love playing huge tournaments like that! But of course there were problems because the site couldn't take that many visitors and there were huge delays. If it wasn't for that the tournament would've been perfect.

Did the administrators handle the walkovers and such correctly?
- Well I don't like the way walkovers are at the bottom either but with such a large tournament the best players on each side usually reach the finals anyway, and one extra round doesn't make a great deal of different in my opinion. At least not when there are so many rounds.

What do you think of your own performance? Losing to ArtistTrack18, what did you think of the games?
- Hmm, I'm definitely not playing at my best but I'm quite happy overall, third place and a small money prize in such a big tournament is quite an achievement after such a period of inactivity for me.
The games versus artisttrack18 were all very fast games, failed all in/successful rush games, it's disappointing losing in those games, but he won overall so I guess he's the best person to have lost to.

Do you think that BW4Ever will increase the activity among the top players because of the prize money?
- I don't think people are going practice specifically for this, but I definitely think the top non koreans will participate - as you can already see from this first tournament, many of the top non koreans participated and I'm sure more will play next time around too.

The matches against Hullah were all Zerg versus Zerg. What do you think of this matchup? And what made you came out as the victor?
- Hmm, Zerg versus Zerg is a matchup where I'm able to beat players better than myself, and yet lose to players worse than me. I can't say I like the luck factor, but it definitely plays a bigger part in Zerg versus Zerg than other matchups. Having said that the games against hullah our builds were fairly well matched. The deciding factor in those games were Hullah engaging in battles where he had fewer units whereas I didn't engage in battles where I had fewer units as willingly as he did.

I take it you have played eachother quite a lot, considering you're in the same clan. What's your record against eachother?
- Haha, I have actually never played Hullah once before today!

A good way to start your record, then. Will you play in the next BW4Ever tournament next week?
- If I get up early enough. Today I was actually late, I got out of bed at 1:45 GMT when the tournament was meant to start at 1:30 GMT. Luckily the delay was what allowed me to play at all.

Okay. Best of luck with waking up next week, and congratulations to the 40 euros.
- thankyou~
