Two playdays of Survivor League was played this week. This round of the Survivor League is what is refered to as round four in the GosuGamers explains Korea feature. That means that the players play a best of three and the winner qualifies to the next MSL. Here are the results from the previous days.

Over at tl.net joohyunee translated an interview with the these two winners. Much said he was angry about his loss to Savior in the OSL last week and was relieved that he managed to win in Survivor. He also spoke about his goals for 2007: "I will become the best protoss of the year 2007".

Much: I'm coming for you!

Justin carried on the desire to get revenge on Savior. It seems everyone wants a piece of him, since they've all lost to him. He said he didn't have time to practice much for these games, so he was very nervous. He also mentioned that besides taking revenge on Savior in the next MSL, he wanted to take out Nal_rA. These were the two players who eliminated him in the past two MSLs.

The rest of the week is packed with excitement as the OSL and MSL finals draw near. Bisu is already in the MSL final, but all the other finalists will be decided by Friday. NaDa vs Casy (OSL) on wednesday, Savior vs Hwasin (MSL) on thursday and Savior vs IriS (OSL) on Friday. All the games start at 10:30 CET and can be watched live from sc2.org.

Predictions

iNcontroL: Savior will destroy IriS easily. Maybe losing on arkanoid or hitchhiker but even than... Casy will squeek out the victory vs NaDa and Savior will smash Hwasin. I say 3-1 for Savior's two series and 3-2 for Casy vs NaDa.

G5: Savior 3-0 IriS. IriS has poor tvz dispite winning vs ZergMan who played horribly in game two and three. And savior is training all zvt at the moment. NaDa 3-1 Casy because NaDa is simply better TvT. Savior 3-1 Hwasin. Hwasin is super good TvZ and the maps favor him but Savior is Savior, period.

IdrA: NaDa > Casy 3-2, Casy's TvT is excellent but alot of it is his really aggressive/micro oriented playstyle. Vs NaDa that wont give him as much of an advantage as vs other terrans since nada's micro is just as good, and NaDa's macro/long game will beat Casy when Casy doesnt get the early advantage.

savior > IriS 3-1 it wont be as much of a rape as most people think, playing as much as teammates do change the makeup of the games alot, especially with IriS' timing/strategy oriented play. He'll hit Savior with a really nicely timed attack and win one game. Beyond that its just Savior's zvt though.

Savior>Hwasin 3-0 or 3-1 Hwasin's TvZ is good but overrated. Savior is a very smart player and he lost to Hwasin once or twice before, assuming Savior has figured out what went wrong he'll come with well prepared build orders and win fairly easy.

PuertoRican: Iris vs. Savior, I think that Iris doesn't have the overall skill to take advantage of Savior on these maps. I predict a clean sweep for Savior. Savior vs. Hwasin, Hwasin already beat Savior once, in a recent meet up. I think Hwasin will use that knowledge and a lot of practice time with his teammate, Child, as well as use the maps in his favor, and beat Savior, 3-2 If Hwasin can luck out and have him and Savior not spawn in the top left base on Longinus, I think Hwasin will take both games on that map, as well as Desert Fox. Hwasin can learn Saviors weakness from the game that Midas owned him on but lost it cuz he didn't watch his men that died to 1 lurker.

cYaN: I'm afraid Savior is going to both finals. Hwasin's TvZ has a much better reputation that IriS' but none of them are consistantly as good as Savior's ZvT. Savior's biggest hurdle will be Hwasin. If Hwasin has a good day he has a really strong TvZ and the maps favor him. Casy vs NaDa. Hard to say, i'll give NaDa the edge. He's really played like a true champion lately.
