The first OSL semifinal was played on the 14th. It was arguably the two best Terrans right now facing off for a spot in the final. Casy versus NaDa in best of five.

NaDa vs Casy

Game one of this best of five series started on Neo Arkanoid. Casy landed at 5 and and opened with a fast expansion. NaDa landed at 7 and went with a two barracks build. Casy didn't scout the marines and medics in time and it was a quick, well timed win for NaDa

Game two on HitchHiker was much of the same really. Casy, at the top, went for a fast command center while NaDa built some extra marines to start his pressure early on. As the game went on NaDa kept the pressure up, and Casy's scv count lower than his own. In the end he rolled over Casy with a nice move. He dropped him goliaths on Casy's ramp, trapping several tanks on low ground for his own tanks to kill.

Game three was on Reverse Temple. NaDa landed at 3, while Casy, at 12, started with a proxy barrack on 8. This game him a little bit of an early advantage, but NaDa gained that back after a cute move of hiding his marines under his barrack. The game quickly developed into a standard drop TvT war. In the end Casy came out on top after a series of nice drops on NaDa's main.

Game four on Longinus II started with Casy at 7 and NaDa at 11. The first game of the series where both players didn't try any kind of marine offense early on. NaDa went factory, command center. Casy opened with a factory, starport. From here on in it was a macro battle. Casy slowly gained control of the map and when he felt his economy was strong enough... He sacrificed his dropships and harassed with his metal army. All while building seven or eight starports of course. When NaDa eventually got wise, 24 or so wraiths were shooting down his dropships and he typed out.

NaDa: disappointed in himself.

Game five, the decider back on Neo Arkanoid. This time without the cheese. Both players opened with a fast expansion. Casy went with two factories and an armory. NaDa opted for the dual starports. No one did any major damage early on, rather it developed into a macro war again. Casy seemed for the most part to do the damage, but NaDa got some extra expansions and made sure to harass Casy's new exp at all times. In the end a lightning quick push across the middle, with an accompanying drop into Casy's main finished it. GG and NaDa's the first finalist of the OSL.

The second MSL semifinal was played on the 15th. Savior vs Hwasin in best of five to decide who gets to fight Bisu for the MSL title in the final.

MSL semi 2: Savior vs Hwasin

Game one on Longinus II. Savior spawned at 11 and went for a 9pool. Hwasin at 3 looked like he wanted to go with a one barrack build, but was forced to add another when he saw the 9pool. After Hwasin finally clearned up Savior got his spire up and started his muta harass. It kept Hwasin in his base for quite a while. Still, when he moved out Savior was able to outpower the few turrets and marines left in the Terran main. Hwasin chose to go for it though. He tried to break the Zerg defenses at his natural in several waves, but wasn't able to. When Savior finally counterattacked with dark swarm Hwasin typed out.

In game two Savior spawned at 2 on Reverse Temple, with Hwasin at 8. Again Savior 9 pooled, while Hwasin build the standard wall for a fast expansion. Savior put a lot of pressure on Hwasin with lings early on, but thanks to his wall he was relatively safe. Hwasin's first attempt at moving out was stopped easily by lings, but his second attempt was better. He made it all the way into the zerg natural and forced the the drones to run. Unfortunately for him the mutas popped out and saved the hatcheries. Savior did some nice, although at times very sloppy muta harass. In the end he was too far behind and tried an all in move. It didn't succeed and Savior typed out with Hwasin still in his own base.

Desert Fox was the scene for game three. Savior, at 12, put down a second hatchery and a spire before he was able to break through his neutral buildings to his expansion. Hwasin, at 7, went the normal command center followed by barrack build. Then he teched to 2 port wraiths. He gets some overlord kills and when he switches to dropships his first drop eventually takes out the zerg natural. The next drop wave is caught by scourge and muta however and Hwasin constantly seems to be losing his dropships in midgame. Meanwhile Savior is turning on the macro. He's fighting off drops by nydusing everywhere and he even puts down two ultralisk caverns, just to show how much he owns this game. Terran mines out his mineral only, allowing access for the ultras and it's GG.

Game four: Savior spawns at 1 on Blitz X and goes for a 12 hatch with a quick lair. Hwasin at 11 goes two barracks before command center. Savior takes a hidden expo in the south east corner and tried to attack with some lings early on. Hwasin holds it with his scvs though. Zerg takes the expansion on his side of the middle. Savior has a massive amount of muta that he now morphs into guardians. However, Hwasin has scouted it and has some valkyries up. The two armies encounter in the middle. Hwasin emerges victorious and Savior gives up shortly after.

The deciding game on Longinus II again, and it's similar to the first game. Savior at 11, Hwasin at 3, same positions as the first game. Again, Savior goes with the 9pool and Hwasin is forced to add a second barrack. Savior tries an expansions at 12 while going for a quick hive. The expansion was half to redirect Hwasin's attention and half to mine some extra gas for his quick defilers. Savior adds to Hwasins problems with some hold lurkers that take out a troop of m&m. Once Savior moves in on Hwasin it's over. He constantly reinforces his swarms with lurkerling and Hwasin sees the final slip away from him.

NaDa: Will face either Savior or IriS in the OSL Final

Over at teamliquid joohyunee has translated the winners interview with Savior. Here's what he thinks of the MSL final: "The maps this season makes it really hard for zerg to play against protoss. So I don't think this final is going to be easy even if people say that Z>P. But I am having good winning percentage in my practices so I am confident that I will win."
