The BWCL Premier League is soon coming to an end, with one playday left. GosuGamers caught up with the head administrator The.Crow to ask what he felt needed to be changed for the next season and if they were satisfied with what they accomplished.

Are you and your BWCL Premier League administrators satisfied with the first season?
- The first season of the new BWCL Premier League was the idea to create something delightful. We had the strong will to give the community what they deserved after their constant fidelity concerning StarCraft and we wanted to give a signal that the game is still alive and is also still capable to produce big booms! And I dare to say, we made it possible to realize some of these goals due to the fact that the league was sponsored with money, all big teams and players found their home in it and it was possible to follow many games on a live video stream. But it is obvious that we have to improve our website and the coverage as soon as possible.

At the start there were only 12 teams, but you changed it to 14. Are you happy with that change, looking back on the season?
- Yes, we added ToT and uT a little bit later and enlarged the number of participating teams to 14. I am absolutely sure it was a quite good decision to add them. ToT is still one of those "untouchable teams" and plays on an impossibly high standard - it would be nothing less than stupid not to invite them to such a league. They brought a big part of the glamor, they brought the tension and action. I thought they would dominate the league, but not so clearly!

Lots of matches were postponed and didn't finish until much later. How are you going to prevent this to happen in the future?
- That is an old problem of the BWCL. We changed the rules in the normal BWCL during the last season, so you cannot postpone more than 2x in 1n1 and 2x in 2n2. That was a first success but it is not enough. I like the system in the WC3L a lot where you have one week to play the games and can arrange your own individual play day. They had almost no freewins the last years because the players fear of their hard penalty system. We have to figure out if this might be also interesting for the BWCL Premier League. But I must say, I am not a fan of penalties. It has been shown in the past that you can also solve some problems with words.

Have you decided anything for the next season concerning teams? Will any teams drop out? Will there be a qualifier?
- We have not made any final decisions about these issues yet, because it should be carefully considered. Due to the fact that sadly "fourvisions" signed out, there is already one empty slot and I am sure two or three further teams have to leave the league, if we will have the chance to continue it with the old or a new sponsor. To keep the high level of skill and to save time I am not sure if qualification is the best way, but there a lot of opposed opinions about this in the community. We will announce more about the future of the Premier League in one or two weeks I guess.

GosuGamers will give you the heads up as soon as more information about the second season comes out.
