Only one player from the A squad was able to take down his opponent in the B team, Iefnaij from MircrogamerZ won against Freaky[LighT]. The fellow MgZ player Oldy lost his match to GiTM.Worked, and neither Loco or Simon was able to defeat Target and Pele. Just to cause even more upset, the 2on2 match was also won by Canada B, even if it was close at 2-1.

As Bman writes on WGTour, when matches like these are played, the A team usually wins. For example, Sweden had a similar match not too long ago in which Sweden A won 7-2. Also Germany, Hungary, Poland and others have played similar matches.

In a match between Canda A and Canada B the latter managed to upset tye bigger brother, winning a not so close match with a 4-1 score.
