UGTour will be launching a 10 day Brood War event, a speed ladder league and probably the only ladder that has successfully launched previously in West, #55 for 4 seasons in Vanilla, will now serve the BroodWar community.
While both PGTour and WGTour are not running their ladders, our own programmer, DarkTiger will launch a speed ladder that will be 10 days long. And the starting date is 10:00 a.m b.net time 21st October and it will end at 10:00 on the 31st October.
The ladder will take place in op ugtour-1 at Europe and DarkTiger, lead programmer of UGTour working with raylu gives us an inside peak of how the system works, the reporting is a two step sequence;
[WINNER]: -reportwin [LOSER]
[LOSER]: -reportloss [WINNER]
The winner will report the game first with the -reportwin [LOSER] command in the channel and when the report is done the loser will report the lose by typing -reportloss [WINNER]. That you can see on the screenshot named "Reportsequence" bellow.
By using the command -stats [USER] then the players can check individual stats from channel or website to see overall standings.
Take a look at screenshot number two that is called "Ladder standing" to see how the sytem looks like.
