Located in Group B, Artosis had quite the resistance, with Midas, Draco and Mondragon coming out on top. He only won against the Russian player Escape, other than that all his matches were losses. GosuGamers caught up with the American Terran player the day after for postcomments.
He tells us that he is a bit sad that he did not have the chance to prepare more. He replaced lastgosu who could not come due to having too much school. Dan 'Artosis' Stemkoski was asked to jump in only two weeks ahead the grand final, something he did not really thought of when ending in third place in the qualifiers.
- If i had known, I would have practiced some more and gotten better, he tells us. He also feels that the maps was very imbalanced, and that it was bad they used the same maps as last year (excluding Estrella). He says that they tend to favour the Zerg race.
He further tells us that he was not at all satisfied with the match against Draco, where he thinks he could have done a lot better.
- He was annoying me a lot, he did offensive gas a number of times on me, he says and explains that he didn't get a siege tank out until after six minutes. "Pretty embarrassing", he said.
We wish Artosis the best of luck in the future and that he will enjoy the rest of his days in Italy.
