Squall, who was apart of the "Sandlot Group" today was eliminated, ending with a 1-4 record. He mentioned he was disapointed in his performance today and seemed very frustrated with the outcome of the matches. He stated that he wasn't very surprised with the outcome of the matches though, saying that all the players in the group were very good; showcasing a lot of competitive play.
SquaLL and Overdrive
I caught up with Overdrive, the second player to advance in Group F, before his tie-breaking matches and he seemed very calm awaiting for his next match. He mentioned that he wishes he could have pulled out a win versus Ex earlier in the day, but he managed to get the win against him about 20 minutes later (without headphones on!); allowing him to play against Suker for the final seed in Group F along with StYm.
I asked him if he thought there was a fighting chance for any foriegner to win this year, and he replied that the Koreans are just too strong. He mentioned that not even Draco stands a chance, who has been in South Korea now for several weeks now practicing, he may even play in a Korean league soon. He will now advance to the playoffs for tomorrow and he will play against Draco in a bo3. Good luck to him and the rest of the 16 finalists tomorrow!

Friday we witnessed some underdogs get wins and seen some fan favorites go down in each group. I was able to get to Squall after his elimination, and managed to talk to Overdrive before his two tie breaking matches today. Here's what they had to say.
