First of all: Congratulations! Did you expect to win this season?
- Thanks. I expected that to happen after winning BWCL and a shameful loss in the first season. I knew that we need to win this time. It didn't look that good at start, even our leader Mondragon was a bit uncertain, but I told him that we can make it. And we did. It was an effort of the whole team and I would like to thank them a lot.
You played MeetYourMakers earlier this season but now you turn things around and end up winning. How big is the rivalry between you two?
- Well I have always thought that we are big rivals. I don't know how the things had looked like before I joined ( which was after SCCL). MYM and ToT have always fought in finals in almost every tournament. Now, when MYM has Testie and Sen both teams are more friendly towards each other I think. But when it comes to matches we have no remorses.
Some say that Testie and SEn didn't play due to diplomatic causes, meaning they don't want to play their old team. If this was the case, what do you think such an act?
- It is really hard to say. I may look like that and I am not sure of the real reasons. From what I was said by Testie, he couldn't play due to his being very tired. He has just come back home after almost a month in Korea and China, which must be hard to handle ( time differences etc.). Before we finished the final, he was already sleeping. As for Sen I cannot say much. He wasn't online. Also both have problems playing Fragbet finals. They also missed the final during the first season, when they were still in ToT.
Does this win feel less deserving with neither Testie nor SEn taking part?
- Some people say that we would have lost if they had come. In my opinion MYM has a lot of good players, who can compete at the highest level. Of course they are both brilliant players, but I don't feel that we deserve it less. They are humans and StarCraft players, which means that they can lose anywhere and anytime. Especially in bo1, when the best play against each other.
You defeated White-Ra on Tau Cross, but then lost to F91 on 815. How did you experience the games?
- I wasn't really active during the last month. I've only played a tournament for POL-TEAM members last week, but it doesn't mean that I let my hands slow down. I played W3 a bit and I got really bored with micro, so I developed some macro builds, which seem to work perfectly against protoss. That's why I expected the win with White-Ra.
Was tough against F91, I had that game won and it was almost impossible to screw it up. I managed to do this and I feel like a loser of the year. Actually I paniced a bit and I thought that he is going to kill my main with mutas and lings. It turned out that he had 5 mutas and a few lings only, while I had 10 and a few lings as well. If I had stayed in his main and killed drones, I would have won it. But it sometimes happens in zvz.
What will you remember the most from this FBL season?
- Surely my all-kill on xLo. We were down to 0-2 with xLo's best players left. Those 4 wins were so crazy that I couldn't help laughing for a few minutes after it was finished.
