To relax for a bit I took the audio recorder out for a walk, and I found a couple of players in the act of preparing for the StarCraft tournament later today.
Not many players prepare by playing though, many are still sleeping, but I managed to catch Svampis and our very own Tobi, both able to give me some comments about the upcoming tournament.
Svampis who was playing StarCraft original to warm up is not as sure about his chances as Tobi was. According to him Svampis will be the winner of the tournament this year, and if not, maybe dAtoby or some of the Czech players.
- Svampis has the advantage of playing Protoss, so he does not really have to do anything, though.
About himself he is as serious as always, explaining that he really feels for this today. He is in top shape as usual, scoring 0-5 today, so he says he is warmed up and ready to compete!
On my way back to the GosuGamers booth I went to see if the NaW- players had anything to say about the tournament, but the only one there was dAtoby who was deep into a game so there was no time for a disturbance as big as giving me a comment.
Do not forget to confirm your place in the tournament, using the button coming up where you pressed "Register" when signing up. The button will appear 30 minutes before start and confirming is only available until the tournament start, so you better not forget about it if you want to have a spot in the tournament.
