The long time Brood War broadcasting star Tasteless has been invisible for a while: he seemed to disappear after the World Cyber Games in Italy. But just a couple of days ago, he reappeared: the news came out in a forum thread at TeamLiquid. Tasteless is back to casting!

A Tasteless Gift
Tasteless says in the TeamLiquid thread that he has been trying to get in touch with different companies and events since the WCG, trying to get more English coverage. Apparently he was originally going to Blizzard WWI but as GGL was too slow and the funding did not arrive in time, he was not able to get there.
By saying he's back he really means back. He now has at least two big events to attend and cover tastelessly. The first one is Blizzcon on August 1st where he will be casting the StarCraft tournament there for GIGA TV. That isn't all he will be doing, we'll also get some casts from the Korean event Seoul E-sport Festival six days later.

- I may stay in the USA for now because I have a feeling that SC2 e-sports will grow along with SC1 tournaments so that way I can maybe cast in the USA. I'm going to Korea August 7th though for that tournament I dunno what I'm doing after that. It's really difficult to figure this out now that this new game is coming. Besides, he says, he has to finish college!

Tasteless goes WarCraft 3?
He will be casting in Korea, but not only the StarCraft matches: also some WarCraft 3. As for not being very experienced when it comes to WarCraft, he tells GosuGamers that it will not only be him, but that the known WarCraft caster, Smeagol, will be there too.
- I won't be casting solo (thank god). He will be doing the color commentary and I will be doing the lead commentary. Which means I ask him more questions and he spends more time analyzing. With this he also says in the TeamLiquid thread that he intend to make this the best WarCraft 3 coverage ever made.

- I'm having some top war3 players that I know personally help me online but I have yet to get the game installed. I just need a new Frozen Throne CD.
Why such Tasteless casting?
And as it is Tasteless we are talking to, GosuGamers took the opportunity to ask him why he is the best, and why he thinks the people like his castings so much.
- Don't ask me, I suck! I say 'um' too much and I get building names mixed up! But after a while he gets a bit more serious, and says that he thinks it is because he has been a pretty good Protoss player, which means he actually knows what he is talking about. With the understanding of the game and his ability to speak English is according to himself why his castings have become so famous.
