The Spanish player lost only one battle on his way up - the second game against Lopata in the finals. He comments on the lost match: "I picked Terran and I tried to cheese, it didn't work, he got an advantage, and he won." The only other game in this particular match-up that was worthy of note was the first, which took place on Monty Hall, an unusual map that finally led to Executor's win despite both players "not playing very well".
His toughest match, however, wasn't to be found in the finals. That honour was Excello's Dreiven's, who fought Executor in a Protoss versus Protoss match on R-Point. "I thought that I gonna lose the game against Dreiven, but I had a comeback, and suddenly I won the game."
"However, I think the toughest player to face is Strelok, he is a really good player, but he didn't have luck," Executor says. Strelok, who left against All authority several weeks ago unexpectedly appeared at the front lines today. He claims his return was "just for fun." Unfortunately, the Best of 1 was as unpredictable as ever, and he lost his second match to Los Reyes.

Nerds at Work/QPad and fAke also managed to fight their way into the rankings, adding them to a growing list of one-time QCup semifinalists. It remains to be seen if they will add further points to their name and become potential competitors for the top spot.
