With all the World Cyber Games qualifications lately, it is hard keeping track of them. Another one is coming up soon though - WCG Canada - and as it approaches one of the players starting to prepare is Testie.
Being confident as only Testie can be, he tells MeetYourMakers that he is the favorite, just like last year, and that the competition is somewhat the same. While mentioning that there are few players who could take him in the Canadian preliminaries he also says that he is the one to go because if someone else does, they will not make it very far in the Grand Finals.
However, he and a few other players outside Korea might have a chance at the Grand Final. He stakes that his skill level is above most of the other foreign players and that players like himself, Mondragon, Draco, and Sen are the ones who have a chance in Seattle.
If he wins the Canadian prelims, Testie says that he will try his very best to prepare for Seattle. He is getting old in the game and because of that a little lazy, but he is working on it as it worries him a bit. He also says that even if the money is an issue for many others, Canada is a big country whose sponsors can pay to send participants to Seattle.
- Plus, MYM helps out and really takes great care of its players. So... I definitely won't have any problems.
When asked if he thinks of someone in particular as the biggest competition apparently the only one he can think of who is good enough to be a real threat is Iefnaij. The others are good, he says, but not great. He is also looking forward to seeing both old and new acquaintances.
- So, if sadness were part of my emotional repertoire, I'd be sad that I missed out on WCG Seattle.
