The first games on day nine was played between the four players Lx, Draco, Super and 1st. Both matches ended up in 2-0 wins and the two losers, Super and 1st, were moved to the elimination round.
The last three players met up in a round-robin match where the player with most losses joined up the other two in the elimination round. Testie played well, taking down both the other players, and Pj also won against Enfury who had to fight for his further participation in PGL.

Today Draco met up with Testie, Pj took on Enfury and 1st played Lx. Testie lost his first match since the first stage of the offline play-offs and together with Enfury and 1st, played another round-robin to see which player who would get eliminated. After Testie's second loss in a row, 1st lost to Enfury meaning that Testie had to win versus 1st to move on. Luckily he pulled himself together and another Asian player is out. The foreigners are still doing good, now being two of the five players left.

Two more exciting days down in China have past by and there are now only five players left in the ESL PGL StarCraft Open. With two foreigners left only one of them have been eliminated so far. Let us see how it goes.
