With only one match left in the GosuGamers StarLeague group stage (datoby vs. NonY) it gets more clear on what players will advance to the playoffs. All groups but F, G and H are done, and we are seven matches away from the playoffs.

Bouncer303--0Group F had Skew, Bruce, Strelok and Bouncer but after a while it became clear that the German Zerg player Bouncer was too busy to play in the StarLeague and therefore forfeited all his matches. But this does not mean that the competition was any easier. Bruce started out defeating Strelok in the first round. But then in the second round Bruce was defeated by Skew, who was then later on in the last round defeated by Strelok. This means we have a three-way-tie, and that the three are to play in a deciding tiebreaker.

Chosen31233-3The second tiebreaker is on Group G, where SquaLL won all his matches. Below him were Crow, Ptak and Omni. Crow defeated Chosen but then lost to Ptak, while Chosen received an autowin from Ptak. This placed them all with a 1-2 score behind SquaLL - which gives us the second tiebreaker in the StarLeague. Should Ptak not have given Omni walkover and instead won the game he would have been the one moving on together with SquaLL to the playoffs. But a walkover was given and the three will instead battle it out in the tiebreaker.

SquaLL ravaged through the competition in Group G while the others each got one win and two losses. In Group F Skew, Bruce and Strelok all ended with 2-1 scores after Bouncer forfeited all his matches.
