The Polish Championships, held in Warsaw, took place this weekend with both 1on1 and 2on2 tournaments in StarCraft. The half retired ToT player GohaN faced a lot of good players, but after an eight player double elimination tournament he won his gold medal.

#3 kogeTGohaN played well through the tournament, sending down both MIStrZZZ and Predator before facing the random player kogeT in the winner bracket final. But GohaN's winning streak did not end there, and kogeT was sent down to the loser bracket where he was eliminated by Dunaj, the one moving on to the grand final as at least the runner up of the tournament.
In the grand final, the two Protoss players went at it but the streak was not over yet for GohaN, who only needed two games to finish Dunaj off, winning with three games to none. WGTour has uploaded a replay package with some of the replays from the tournament. The players collected in the package are Gohan, Dunaj, Koget, and Predator.
Also worth mentioning is that the winners of the 2on2 tournament were not the top team GohaN and Fabian or the WCG Poland winner Dreiven and his partner ITsux, but ZZZaklinacz and ZZZaufany (better known as the Kanibal and the Ninja from team [Media]) who survived teams such as the above mentioned duos and MIStrZZZ and his ally ZZZero before ending up in first place.
