It's back and I for one am excited. King Mondragon versus the Russian Terran, EX! Both are ready for the WCG Grand Final, but first the GosuGamers King of the Hill on Wednesday.

Here are the maps, the predictions and of course a little history from this long standing event tradition. Wednesday 19th at 18:00 CET. Do not miss it.

The Maps
Blitz X 2.0 Loki 2.0
Python 1.3 Tau Cross 1.3
Longinus 2.0 Sin Peaks 2.4
Blue Storm 1.1 » Map pack

All the maps should be well known except Blue Storm which is a brand new MSL and 2007 ProLeague round 2 map. Peaks of Baekdu is the starting match and then it's loser's choice. KotH is as always best of seven.

Predictions:

Dknight: I think Ex will have an easy time with Mondragon, winning either 4-1 or 4-2. With Ex's practice lately and his results at both the ASUS and WCG Russia, he seems to be in great shape. Add in Mondragon on a different computer, his laxidazical approach, and Mondragon playing Protoss vs Terran, Ex should be the clear winner.

MYM.Testie: I don't regard ex that highly. Mondragon easily.

BrEaKdOwN: Both are very good players, mondragon has just proven that he still "has it" by winning wcg germany, same goes for ex by finishing top 3 in the russian wcg. the maps are pretty fair chosen, i cant see any "race imbalances". i think that mondragons weakest matchup is zvt, same goes for ex the other way around. It will be very interesting for sure, but personally i see mondragon winning 4-2.

Colbi: Mondragon is one of the strongest players outside of South Korea, so it will be very hard for Ex to come out victorious. Ex is known for his strong play in TvT, but not really in TvZ. Mondragon has shown very consistent play in the past and I feel that he will be very hard to stop for even a very skilled player like Ex. My predictions are Mondragon coming out on top with a score of 4-2.

Salieri: Considering Mondragon's last results in the Fragbet Tourneys, where he beat White-Ra twice in semi finals and then Advokate, another strong Russian Terran, I think Mondie is in a great form at the moment. Thus I doubt he could lose this match, especially if he finds a correct computer to play on. I will predict a 4-1 victory for Dissy if he plays Zerg, but only a 4-3 or 3-4 if he plays Protoss against Ex.
