You might know that E3 started technically today in Los Angeles California USA. If you don't know what E3 is, then let me tell you! It is the annual trade show event where everybody who is anybody shows up to show off their product to retailers, journalists, and whoever shows up. Well Blizzard has shown off some more of StarCraft: Ghost. Gamespy has put up a new preview which is a good read, I especially liked the nod to us StarCraft veterans:

The game looks great on all three platforms. Even though it began development a year and a half ago, its visuals are on par with the best on all consoles. Nova's suit is full of Tron-like light nodes, which are in sharp contrast to the dark environments you'll traverse. The enemies looks swell as well. It's a treat for StarCraft veterans to see bad guys in living, breathing 3D.

There is also a great article over at IGN with tons of new video footage and screenshots but you need to register. If you do not want to, check here » IGN (no registration needed.)

Ghost is an interesting endeavor because it does two things well. It utilizes the StarCraft universe to its fullest -- not only are all creatures accurately represented but they're all set to the correct scale (which means you'll finally see what the StarCraft universe really looks like. Ghost also incorporates several interesting gameplay mechanics (namely Nova's Ghost abilities) to create a different brand of stealth. These two characteristics are blended together in such a way that you never feel like Nova's abilities are gimmicky -- they all make sense in the StarCraft world -- and her powers prove that this isn't simply a stealth game using the SC name to succeed.

She is so hot even goons feel the heat!

It looks like Ghost will have more features than first thought and I am really excited to be able to explore the universe of StarCraft in a totally new perspective. Expect a preview from me this weekend when I get back from E3!
