Yesterday the very first season of ingame.WarCraft-Cup, in short inCup, took place. inCup is, with WC3Masters being inactive (for good?), no doubt the most popular tournament in the WarCraft 3 scene. In all the 10 tournaments, a prize pool of 200€ is handed out, sponsored by a hardware company called SPEED-LINK. The massive amount of 512 players took part, but only one could in the end be standing as the victor. That player was T.MH]Lucifer, who on the way beat players such as SK.ElakeDuck in the semi-final and in the Grand Final WE.Check.

The interest among the players were huge - 512 players, which also was the maximum for this tournament. For the second tournament this upcoming Sunday, they have expanded to 1024 players. Will that qouta be filled? If so, it will be one of the biggest tournaments in the WarCraft 3 community for a long time. As always in inCup, the Germans were the majority. However there were none who really made that far, except for Eric., a member of Templars of Twilight, mostly known for their Brood War squad.

In a hot inferno filled with players (512) with the hope of winning the 200€ on the line, there can be only one, as usual. The player who win the first inCup Summer Season 2005 tournament was none other than the Korean progamer T.MH]Lucifer.
