The Russian clan es4x was so close to making it into the WC3L Season 8. They made it as far as the Loser Bracket finals, where they were up against Team Pentagram. United 5, who really wanted revenge, after losing to es4x in the Loser Bracket semi-final. This after they ended last place in WC3L Season 7, and had to re-qualify. Without any luck there, they still looked brightly on the future, with PaTo joining their team and WarCraft Premier League coming up. They were, just as es4x, seeded fairly high in the WPL (#5), and fought their way to the Winner Bracket Final against es4x. Yesterday the match took place. Below are the results:
This means that United 5 is qualified for the WarCraft Premier League. Together with Project-K2 and Against All Authority, United 5 is the the third as of yet qualified teams for WPL Season 3. As for es4x, they will have to keep on fighting in the Loser Bracket with a last chance of taking part in a clanleague this fall.

Yesterday, United 5 played against es4x in the final round of the WPL qualifier winner bracket. The winner was to be automatically qualified for WPL, while the loser had to play against clan InT] in the Loser Bracket.
