The new WarCraft 3 Nationscup champion is Bulgaria! They defeated Poland in the final with a close 3-2. Today the last match between Insomnia and Casin was played and the 2-2 became a 3-2 in Bulgaria's favour.



Overall 21 nation teams participated in the eighth Nationscup in four groups. The two best teams qualified for the playoffs: Bulgaria (Grp. A 1st), Denmark (Grp. A 2nd), Sweden (Grp. B 1st), Netherlands (Grp. B 2nd), Spain (Grp. C 1st), Russia (Grp. C 2nd), Poland (Grp. D 1st), Austria (Grp. D 2nd).

All matches except the solo match from Insomnia and Casin have been played earlier and the overall result until today was a 2-2 draw. Today Insomnia then beat Casin with a close 2-1 and made Bulgaria being the Nationcup champion.

"It was a very close final. After Diesel and me/Iron won our games we were very close to the win and Jack/DIDI/Inso were supposed to do their best and show their high standing. But when Jack and DIDI both lost their games with pretty close matches we started to fear for our title. Luckily we have a happy end now andwe are very happy to be NationCup Champions for 1st time so far. We are looking forward to repeat our success!"
