In the Grand Final of BlizzCon, Grubby faced the Korean star Zacard in an Orc versus Orc game. Zacard had the chance to take revenge after the WB finals, but Grubby was too strong, and could win 2-0. Grubby is the BlizzCon 2005 champion!
One of the expected players to win this tournament (seeded #1 and WCG'04 winner, ESWC winner) did it again. In Anaheim at the BlizzCon Invitational event, earlier tonight you could see the Grand Final being played between the two Orc players Grubby (picture) and Zacard. We had seen it before, which was the Winner Bracket final, where Grubby took down Zacard 2-1, which forced the Korean to take down the French player ToD in the Loser Bracket finals, to then finally face Grubby again. There, Grubby beat Zacard yet again, but with 2-0 this time.
Another massive and prestigious title
This means that Grubby takes home yet another massive and prestigious championship title, along with $10,000 and a » winner trophy. Zacard (the constant runner-up?) will be awarded $3,000 for ending up just after Grubby, however no trophy for him to bring home to Korea.
Grubby's way through the tournament
Round 1: Grubby > Wizard2-0
Round 2: Grubby > FuRy2-0
WB Finals: Grubby > Zacard2-1
Grand Final: Grubby > Zacard2-0
