ToD has had quite an easy road to the finals compared to the other Human player in the semi final - Sky. ToD started off beating KiWiKaKi in two easy games. Next up was, luckily for ToD, the surprise of the day: Levin. Levin beat the Korean Night Elf player Soju in the first round, a result that raised the eyebrows of many, including ToD's.
- I really thought Soju was gonna win. I am glad that he won because I would have probably lost against Soju, says ToD. He has announced before that he is weak against Night Elf players, and to face a top notch Elf such as Soju could have been ToD's downfall... and yet, he managed to win against the Night Elf player.
Next up was the Chinese player Rabbit, an Orc player whose success was somewhat of a surprise. ToD won 2-0, and went on to face XyLigan in a Human versus Human mirror. Walking out victorious, the players still hanging around in the player area applauded and cheered for ToD. This victory marks his first Top 2 spot in the World Cyber Games.
Looking back on last year's tournament, ToD thinks it was a lot better than the one held this year. He did not really expand on that answer but if he shares my opinion it was mostly because of the bad location.
ToD was mighty surprised by the fact that there were three Human players in the Top 4.
- I thought a Night Elf was gonna take the first place but the Night Elves seem to be screwing their games up, he said, referring to Soju losing to Levin and Deadman losing to Ciara.
