ThomasGYesterday the event officially started with a nice opening party. In Hamburg, the first Intel Friday Night Game was hosted, where ESL had invited the two first contestants in WarCraft 3 and Counter-Strike. For WarCraft 3 the two players from SK-Gaming Miou and Insomnia were the first to give the fans in Hamburg a treat of a nice Human versus Human mirror. Miou turned out to be the stronger of the two, something that Insomnia wrote in the pre-match comments.
- He's got a great understandment of the human mirror matchup and for me it will be hard to surprise him, he says. But Miou said that Insomnia was the favourite; "He won most of our games in Ladder and other tourneys, so my chances aren't too big".
